RCC: Please give a little background or history on your business, and describe the business/services.
Founded in 1902, Washington Trust Bank is the largest independently owned full-service commercial bank in the Northwest. We serve the Ridgefield business community through our recently opened Vancouver branch, which is staffed by team members who bring a combined 80 years of business and banking experience and personal and professional roots right here in Clark County. We’re excited to provide the Bank's full suite of products and services including small business loans and credits cards, commercial banking, personal banking solutions, and home loans.
RCC: Please share some highlights about your business – unique offerings, employee benefits, community involvement – things you’re proud of that stand out.
Much like the people of the Northwest, Washington Trust has an independent streak. Being private and family-owned for more than 120 years means we don’t answer to Wall St. or other outside interests. We focus on serving our clients and communities to the best of our abilities, so we put a premium on sound business practices, constant innovation, and deep expertise.
We’re invested in the Northwest and in helping our communities thrive. We believe that everyone deserves to have a bank that looks out for them and helps them reach their goals. We work with individuals, small businesses, large corporations, nonprofit organizations, and everything — and everyone — in between.

What we love most about Ridgefield is the sense of connection and collaboration. Ridgefield is a place where businesses, families, and organizations truly support one another, creating a vibrant and thriving community.
