Viva Aesthetics
RCC: Please give a little background or history on your business, and describe the business/services.
Viva Aesthetics was born in 2024 when Amanda McLaughlin decided to bring her passion for skincare home to Ridgefield. With a heart for helping people feel good in their skin, Amanda set out to create a welcoming space where confidence and community could thrive. Not long after opening, she teamed up with cosmetic tattoo artist Dawn Gosney, and together they dreamed bigger—building a collaborative space that not only serves clients, but also uplifts and supports other momtrepreneurs chasing their own passions.
RCC: Please share some highlights about your business – unique offerings, employee benefits, community involvement – things you’re proud of that stand out.
At Viva Aesthetics, we love that our business is a reflection of who we are—moms raising our families right here in Ridgefield while also pouring our passion into serving this community. We specialize in corrective skincare, cosmetic tattooing, injectables, and custom spray tans, but what really makes us unique is the heart behind it all.
We’ve built Viva as a collaborative space where clients feel cared for, and where fellow momtrepreneurs have the chance to grow their dreams too. Flexibility and family come first for our team, because we know what it’s like to balance work and motherhood. Being involved in the Ridgefield community—whether it’s supporting local events, cheering at our kids’ activities, or welcoming neighbors into the studio—is what keeps us grounded and grateful. For us, it’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about confidence, connection, and community.
RCC: What do you like most about being part of the Ridgefield community? (If you’re located outside of Ridgefield, please talk a little bit about how your business ties into the area).
What I love most about Ridgefield is how it truly feels like home. I’ve lived here for 15 years, and Dawn’s family has been rooted here for four generations. Our kids go to the local schools, we’re at Friday Night Lights cheering with everyone else, and we get to know so many of the other small business owners. It’s been amazing to watch Ridgefield grow, but what makes it so special is that it still holds onto that small-town charm where people know each other and support one another.
RCC: Is there anything else you’d like to share or call out in your Member Spotlight?
We’d love to highlight that Viva Aesthetics is more than just a skincare studio—it’s a space built by moms, for our community. Our heart is not only in helping clients feel confident and cared for, but also in creating opportunities for other momtrepreneurs to grow their dreams alongside us. We’re so thankful for the support Ridgefield has shown us, and we’re excited to continue giving back to the town that means so much to our families.
