RCC: Please give a little background or history on your business, and describe the business/services.
Riverview Bank turns 100 years old this year. The bank was founded in Camas in 1923 so that community people would have a place to do banking. While the bank’s footprint has expanded from there, the same principles for are important to Riverview. We want to be your bank for all of your life stages…new home, a vacation home, saving for college, starting a business or expanding one. And, of course, saving for retirement. We are your neighbors and care about the same things that you do. Family, friends and community.

RCC: Please share some highlights about your business – unique offerings, employee benefits, community involvement – things you’re proud of that stand out.
Riverview has 17 branches from Aumsville to Ridgefield and Vancouver to Goldendale. We are very proud of our nearly 250 employees. Clients and community members tell us all the time that they bank with Riverview because of the staff.
Riverview is known for community giving. In fact, we work closely with each branch manager to understand what is important in their community. It’s different for each branch. Missions supported include houselessness, animal welfare, financial literacy, food scarcity, environmental work, community events, business associations, local fairs and more.
RCC: What do you like most about being part of the Ridgefield community? (If you’re located outside of Ridgefield, please talk a little bit about how your business ties into the area).
The Ridgefield branch opened in 2022. Even though the branch is new, we are not new to the many clients in the area. We have long supported the Ridgefield area through the Ridgefield Main Street work, Ridgefield Raptors, Clark County Fair Court, the FVRL branch, and a number of other projects. We are committed to Ridgefield.

The bank rebranded this summer with a new logo, a modified name and a tagline. We are now Riverview Bank. We dropped the word “community” because it’s what we do and will continue to do so. Our tagline is It’s about you. It’s about our community, our clients and our staff.
