Downtown Ridgefield is ready to welcome its newest member to the business community!
The Ridgefield Mercantile is owned and operated by Suzy & Kurt Rylander and Kate and David Sacamano. Kurt and Suzy grew up in Ridgefield and Suzy has always dreamed of having a shop in downtown Ridgefield. Kate and David are long-time Clark COunty residents who moved to Ridgefield last July after becoming empty-nesters. With a deep appreciation for all that a small, rural community offers, the historic Arts District of Ridgefield was the ideal location for this vintage home and garden shop. The shop includes 20 vendors offering high quality vintage home furnishings, art and decor as well as new home and garden merchandise such as candles, blankets, house plants and garden pottery. There will also be a select assortment of gourmet food products from the Northwest including Jacobsen Salts and Durant Olive Oil. We will be seeking hyper local products to feature once we are open and will host flea markets in the summer months. It is our greatest desire to create a space for community members to feel warmly welcomed and local business entrepreneurs to feel supported. We are honored to be part of this close-knit community and we look forward to celebrating all that Ridgefield has to offer through collaborative marketing with our city and neighboring businesses.
Ridgefield Mercantile will have refreshments and our vendors will be on hand to answer any questions and meet with visitors. We are officially opening our doors to the public on March 18th.
